The Upside Down Show

Shane Dundas and David Collins starred in The Upside Down Show, which aired on Noggin, Nick Jr. Australia, and ABC Australia and won a Logie Award. They play brothers who dwell in an odd house with a variety of bizarre rooms in the program. With 13 episodes made by the globally regarded Sesame Workshop, the show premiered on Nick Jr. Australia in August 2006 and on Noggin US on 16 October 2006. Only Noggin may be seen with the Sesame Workshop emblem utilized in this broadcast. During the 2006-2007 season, The Upside Down Show received mixed reviews, failing to match the popularity of Play With Me Sesame and Caillou. When the show first debuted, it was compared to Ernie and Bert. Shane Dundas raised reservations about the show's return for a second season in a New York Post interview on December 27, 2006. Despite its success, the Umbilical Brothers announced on their website on June1,2007, that Nickelodeon/Noggin USA were not interested in a third season of The Upside Down Show. In2007, the show received a Parents' Choice Award Silver Honor for Television and a Creative Craft Daytime Emmy Award for Main Title Design.
