The Chaser

Detective Baek Hong Suk had a good moral character despite the fact that he was impoverished. The passing of his daughter at the age of 15 brings tragedy to his otherwise contented but impoverished family. Hong Suk makes a solemn oath to investigate the circumstances surrounding his daughter's unjustified death after hearing that the reputation of his daughter, who is everything to him, is being sullied by others. He then sets out to fulfill his promise. During his investigation, he came upon a more cunning and powerful genius than he had anticipated.
