The Alaskans

The Alaskans is a 1959-1960 ABC/Warner Brothers western television show set through the 1890s at the port of Skagway, Alaska. The series features Roger Moore as"Silky Harris" along with Jeff York as"Reno McKee", a set of adventurers intent on swindling travelers bound for the Yukon Territories through the height of the Klondike Gold Rush. Their aims really are inevitably complicated by the presence of singer"Rocky Shaw","an entertainer having a preference for the finer things in life". The series was that the very first work on American television to get the British actor Roger Moore.
