Laverne & Shirley

Laverne and Shirley is an American comedy that aired on ABC from January27, 1976 to May10, 1983. Penny Marshall portrayed Laverne De Fazio and Cindy Williams portrayed Shirley Feeney, single roommates who worked as bottlecappers in a fake Milwaukee brewery named "Shotz Brewery." The show was a spin-off from Happy Days, as the two main characters were introduced as Fonzie's acquaintances on that show. Set in roughly the same time period, the timeline began in1958, when the series began, and finished in1967, when the series ended. It was produced by Paramount Television, as was Happy Days. It was conceived by Garry Marshall and executive produced by Garry Marshall, Edward K. Milkis, and Thomas L. Miller.
