American Dreams
American Dreams is an American television drama program broadcast over the NBC television network, produced by An Affair and Dick Clark Productions in association with NBC Studios and Universal Network Television. The series was created by Jonathan Prince and produced by Josh Goldstein and Prince. The latter was one of the manufacturers with Dick Clark. It surfaced on September 29, 2002. The series is put in Philadelphia. It aired on Sundays at 8:00 pm Eastern time, but transferred to the identical time on Wednesdays from March 9, 2005, to the next season finale. The series tells the story of the Pryor family of Philadelphia throughout the mid-1960s. Season one occurs at 1963--season 2 at 1964, 64 --season three at 1965, and 65 --66. When it surfaced in Australia the series was known as Our Generation it was changed back to American allies as it came back for the season.
The theme song"Generation" was first written and played by Emerson Hart, lead singer of this band Tonic. Hart was got an ASCAP award for the Best Theme Song of Video by the tune in 2003. The series was that the 2003 TV Land Awards"Future Classic" winner.
