Wadjda is currently a girl residing in a suburb of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Although she resides in a environment, Wadjda is fun entrepreneurial loving and consistently pushing the bounds of what she can get off with. After a fight with her friend Abdullah with, Wadjda sees a gorgeous green bike for sale. The bike is wanted by her therefore that she can beat Abdullah in a rush. However, Wadjda's mother will not allow it, fearing consequences in the society that sees bicycles rather damaging into the virtue of your girl. So Wadjda decides to try and raise the money herself...
