The Love of Jeanne Ney
Jeanne discovers that her boyfriend is a Bolshevik in the Crimea, where the Reds and Whites are still battling (when he kills her father). She works for her uncle in Paris after returning to Paris penniless. Soon later, her lover Andreas is in France organizing sailors in Toulon. Khalibiev, a libertine, thief, and traitor, tries to seduce Jeanne. His plots, Jeanne and Andreas' naivete, and a missing diamond bring the lovers to disaster.
