Sonatine

Kitano plays Murakawa, a Tokyo yakuza exhausting of gangster lifestyle. Along with a few of his henchmen, his boss sends him to help end a gang war, supposedly to distinguish between two warring clans. He finds that the dispute involving the clans is immaterial and wondering why he was sent to Okinawa Murakawa's headquarters are bombed and he and his gang are ambushed at a bar.
