Scum

This may be the narrative of life at a British Borstal for younger criminals. The barbarous regimen made no effort to reform or enhance the inmates and actively invited a power struggle between the'demanding' inmate and the'old hands'. This picture is a remake, by the identical director and writer, of a 1977 BBC teleplay banned before broadcast [see Scum (1991)].
