The Red Ghost

December 30, 1941. Vyazma ('Vyazemsky cauldron') is a tiny contingent of Soviet soldiers engaged in an unequal conflict with a Wehrmacht special unit. However, none of them consider quitting. Each of them was willing to give his life to defend his home country. None of these valiant individuals was born a hero. The legend of the red ghost is attributed to a Soviet soldier who, during the Great Patriotic War, instilled in animals a mortal fear of German soldiers. In place of one of the deceased heroes, another was substituted, and the myth of the indestructible Soviet soldier was formed. "The Red Ghost" is a film about the optimism each soldier will have.
