Oedipus Rex

In prewar Italy, a couple have a baby boy. The dad, however, is jealous of his son - at which the baby is taken to be killed and also the scene goes to antiquity. He's rescued, given the name Edipo (Oedipus), also raised by the King and Queen of Corinth as his own kid. That an oracle informs Edipo that he is destined to kill his father and wed his mother one evening. Horrifiedhe flees Corinth and his presumed parents only to enter a fight and kill a older person on the road...
