After decades of fighting over drugs, relations between the United States and Mexico have broken down. Gear Side International, a robotics engineering company, lost a multi-billion dollar government contract owing to poor practices. The Malvado cartel purchases their technology as they are on the verge of going bankrupt. The wrong people have access to highly powerful military robots technology. They exploit it to their advantage, replacing their enforcers, hit men and soldiers. It's not long until the cartel becomes a major security concern for the US
