Based on a real story,"House On The Hill" is really a legitimate crime melodrama with strong terror elements, chronicling the bizarre 1980s murder spree of serial killer Leonard Lake, who would aim, kidnap, rob and kill people - and also families. Sonia, the only survivor of the killing spree of Lake, teams up to help him locate a woman who vanished into Lake's compound.
