Funny Boy

An adaptation of Shyam Selvadurai's 1994 unique Funny Young boy, checking out the awakening of sexual identity by a young child called Arjie. As political stress rise to a boiling point in between the minority Tamils and the majority Sinhalese, a young child matures in a society as well as family members that does not embrace distinction outside of societal norms. The film chronicles Arjie's battle to discover balance and vanity in spite of the lack of compassion and also understanding.
