Tomoki Sakai (Kento Hayashi) is an ordinary junior high school student. Fascinated by Yoichi Fujitani's (Sosuke Ikemaytsu) diving abilities, Tomoki joins the Mizuki Diving Club (MDC), where Yoichi trains. The club, though, is in the red, and its very survival is in doubt. Kayoko Asaki (Asaka Seto) has recently returned from the United States and has been hired as a new coach with the objective to save MDC. Her ambition is for the club to produce an Olympian. Shibuki Okitsu (Junpei Mizobata), a skilled diver with a wild streak from Tsugaru, is brought in by her. Meanwhile, Kayoko discovers Tomoki possesses a rare skill known as "diamond eyes" and motivates him to begin rigorous training. Tomoki, Yoichi, and Shibuki must overcome personal obstacles and overcome obstacles and setbacks in the sport in order to realize their objectives.
