Diagnosis

A descent into the psyche of a metropolis built by humans as seen through the eyes of those who live there. The sessions on the couch are something that the citizens of the city have to go through. They begin their adventure into the depths of their own feelings and emotions when queries such as, "What kind of animal is the city?" unlock doors for them to travel through. The city itself serves just as a jumping off place, and as time goes on, interactions tend to get closer and more personal. Scenes from real life, recollections, and very emotional events are woven in and out of pictures of the city that are interpreted subjectively by the filmmaker. They are melding into one another, completing one another, and engaging in conversation with one another. The characters' anxieties, aspirations, and unresolved business all converge into a single predicament over the course of the film.
