Crossroads

At midnight on their high school graduation, three friends bury a box. They promise to open it at that time. There is a small town called Georgia that they live in. Soon, things start to change for the better. A little girl, a prom queen who is getting married, and an outcast who is pregnant are all in the same group of people. They open the box on the night of graduation, and they start talking to each other about their lives. All of a sudden, someone brings up the idea of her going to Los Angeles to get a record deal. They all decide to go together, and then they all go. People with some money set off on a trip with a man named Ben. All of them are terrified of him when one of them spreads a story that he might be a murderous psychopath. Lucy falls in love with Ben upon their arrival in Los Angeles, and against her father's desires, she remains and auditions.
