The Suburbans, a one-hit wonder band from the 1980s, reunite for a special performance at the wedding of one of their former members. The wedding is interrupted by the presence of a young record business talent scout, who decides to give the now 40-ish artists a much-needed boost in their comeback. The film seeks to take a critical look at the music industry in the 1990s and contrast it with the more straightforward environment of the 1980s.
