Susannah of the Mounties
It's been a long time since Shirley Temple played Susannah Sheldon, a young orphan who was the only survivor of a brutal Indian attack. Angus Montague (Randolph Scott) and his girlfriend, Vicky, are the only people who care about her, and they help her get better (Margaret Lockwood). Having a precocious child around can be a good thing. When the Indians come back, the girl uses her charm to get them to agree to peace. Shirley is the only survivor of an Indian attack in the Canadian West who was not killed. He and his girlfriend take her home.
