Masaatsu Naito of all Yunagaya Domain names receives an arrangement to Do Sankin-kotai within 5 days. Sankin-kotai is actually a custom that requires the daimyo to stop by the shogun in Edo. Alas, the time required to visit the shogun in Edo to get Masaatsu Naito is just 8 days. Masaatsu Naito also learns he received the arrangement because the golden mine is wanted by a top ranking government officer. The cost for Sankin-kotai is high and the Yunagaya Domain is a small han that it appears impossible to complete. Nevertheless, Masaatsu Naito begins an operation.
