She Wore a Yellow Ribbon
After the 7th Cavalry and Custer are wiped out by Indians, every one expects the worst. Capt. Nathan Brittles is organized out on patrol but he's also expected to shoot together Abby Allshard, wife of the Fort's commanding officer, along with her niece, the pretty Olivia Dandridge, who are evacuated to their safety. Brittles is only a couple of days away from retirement and Olivia has caught the attention of a couple of the young officers within the Company, Lt. Flint Cohill and second Lt. Ross Pennell. She's taken to wearing a yellow ribbon in her hair that she has a beau at the Cavalry, but refuses to state whom she is wearing it.
