Jackie Moon is Your owner, promoter, Trainer, and Celebrity player of This Flint Michigan Tropics of Their American Basketball Association (ABA). In 1976 ahead of the ABA collapses, the National Basketball Association (NBA) plans to unite together with all the finest teams of the ABA at the end of the season. Only the top four teams can get the move and the teams will fold. The Tropics will be the worst team in the league and also Jackie Moon must rally his team and start winning if they would like to make the journey to the NBA. The problem is the fact that Jackie Moon isn't really star basketball player and the coach he thinks he could be. Leave his own mark in the metropolis and to continue to keep his team against oblivion, Jackie Moon must inspire his team win fourth place.
