"Muffin Top: A Love Story" is the story of Suzanne (Cathryn Michon) a Women's Research Pop Culture professor at Malibu University, that analyzes pictures of women in the media for a living, yet is made insecure by the endless parade of female perfection which is our air-brushed culture. She has been going through IVF treatments to get pregnant by her network executive husband (Diedrich Bader), but finds on her birthday, that her husband has pumped up his younger, younger, co-worker (Haylie Duff) and wants a divorce. Happy Birthday! She goes on to find a more real version of that she is, inspite of the joys of being single in Los Angeles, where for women is the number one export to the earth.
