Moondance Alexander
The strangely named, Moondance Alexander can be just a lively living with her mother. Until she finds a pinto pony named Checkers who has jumped out of his paddock she is confronted with another summer. Even though Moondance yields the horse to his rightful owner, the gruff and Dante Longpre, she is convinced that Checkers is really just a champion jumper in disguise and can be set to help him realize his whole potential.
