Hurry Sundown
Following the Second World War, a cannery that is northern join forces for purchasing a tract of uncultivated Georgia farmland. The major part of the land was already optioned by her draft dodging husband and is possessed by Julie Ann Warren. Now the combine has to obtain two plots - one possessed by Henry's cousin Rad McDowell having family and a wife. A black man whose mother had been Julie's youth Mammy, The other from Reeve Scott. But Rad nor even Reeve is enthusiastic about attempting to sell plus they form an unparalleled enterprise that is black and black to increase their land. Henry continues determined to push the huge land deal, although infuriated by the turn of events. So when Reeve's mother Rose expires, Henry tries to persuade his wife to charge Reeve convinced that the bigoted Judge Purcell will rule against a Negro.
