Heavenquest: A Pilgrim's Progress
Inspiration was drawn from John Bunyan's original works including the 1678 novel The Pilgrim's Progress. The unexplained arrest of Vangel, a royal man, forces him to embark on an adventure against his choice. Vangel, after escaping the dark king's warriors, begins to have weird dreams and images of a mystery woman in white calling him from the unexplored realm of the North. After receiving the "Record of the Ancients" from Elder, Vangel sets off on an epic journey that takes him across dangerous mountains, endless deserts and the Lake of Doubts before he finally reaches a forest where he may return home. The stories of a monarch and his son in the far north, if they survive the journey, are passed along by fellow travelers.
