Diplomacy
The nights August 24, 1944. The fate of Paris is at the control of General von Choltitz, governor of Grand Paris, who's organizing, on Hitler's ordersto blow off the French funding. Even the descendent of a long line of Prussian men, the overall has never had some hesitation as it came to obeying orders. That really is what's on the mind of Swedish consul Raoul Nordling as he chooses the secret staircase that leads to the package of General von Choltitz at the Hôtel Meurice. The bridges to the Seine and the major monuments of Paris (including the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower) are mined using explosives, willing to be detonated. Armed with the weapons of diplomacy, the consul will make an effort to convince the general not to follow Hitler's arrangement of destruction.
