Christmas Around the Corner
While vacationing in a small village in Vermont, Claire (Alexandra Breckenridge), an ambitious venture capitalist from New York City, is welcomed into the Fortenbury Bookstore as a guest for the holidays by the proprietors. There are no Christmas festivities going on due to last year's flood and the bookstore is in bad shape when Claire gets there. As soon as she sees the store, she takes on the task of making it more appealing. Andrew (Jamie Spilchuk), the store's owner, doesn't like all of her ideas at first, so she and Andrew fight. A romance develops between Claire and Andrew, who join her in restoring the yuletide spirit as a result of Claire's infectious positivity. But when Claire finds out that Andrew is planning to sell the bookstore in the New Year, everything comes to a halt and everything goes wrong. Whether or not the Christmas spirit can persuade Andrew to follow his heart remains to be seen.
