Bullets Over Broadway
Set in 1920s New York City, this picture tells the story of idealistic young playwright David Shayne. Producer Julian Marx finally finds financing for the project from gangster Nick Valenti. The grab is that the girlfriend Olive Neal of Nick gets a psychiatrist's part, and Olive is actually really a bimbo who may never pass for a psychologist as well as being truly a dreadful actress. Agreeing for the undermine is the initial step to the complete charm of David, who neglects longtime girl friend Ellen of Broadway. Meanwhile, the David places up the major man who is a compulsive eater, using Warner Purcell, Helen Sinclair and Cheech, Olive hitman. The playwright must decide whether life or art is far important.
