Bound by Honor
Based on the life experiences of poet Jimmy Santiago Baca, the movie focuses on half-brothers Paco and Cruz, and also their cousin Miklo. It unlocks in 1972, since the three are members of the East L.A. group called the"Vatos Locos", and the story focuses on how a violent offense and the effect of narcotics alter his or her own lives. Miklo is incarcerated and sent to San Quentin, where he leaves a"home" for himself. Cruz becomes an excellent artist, however a heroin dependence overcomes him . Paco becomes a cop and an enemy into his"carnal", Miklo.
