Alone in Berlin
Berlin in June of 1940. While propaganda celebrates the victory over France of the regime, a room in Prenzlauer Berg is filled with despair. Otto and anna Quangel's boy has been killed at the front. This working class couple had believed in the'Führer' and followed him but today they understand that his promises are nothing but lies and deceit. They begin writing postcards and in a bid! Kill Hitler! Putting their lifestyles in danger, these cards are distributed by them from tenement buildings' entrances and in stairwells. But the Gestapo and the SS are them onto, and their neighbours pose a threat.
