The Restaurant

The Restaurant is a reality television series which aired in 2003. The series had encore demonstrations on CNBC and Bravo. Celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito opened the Gramercy Park restaurant Union Pacific in August, 1997. Even the NBC series, it was announced, would follow DiSpirito because he started and operated a Manhattan restaurant. The season revolved around opening and the construction of Rocco. Some 7.5 million viewers tuned in to its July 20, 2003 premiere focusing to the search for a spot and construction work with the new restaurant. On the list of 2, 000 people who showed up expecting to be appreciated were actors, show business hopefuls and models. Along with Rocco's mother, Nicolina DiSpirito, famous for the famous meatballs, the show's on Camera personnel contained David Miller, Alex Corrado, Domiziano Arcangeli, Heather Kristin, Natalie Norman, Topher Goodman, Lisa Wurzel, Brian Allen, Gideon Horowitz, Heather Snell, Amanda Congdon, Pete Giovine, Uzay Tumer, Emily Shaw, Lonn Coward, Carrie Keranen, Colleen Fitzgerald, Caroline Matler, Brian Petruzzell, Lola Belle, Susanna Hari, Tony Acinapura, John Charlesworth, Laurent Saillard, Perry Pollaci, Matt DiBarro along with Tim Donoho.
