The Philanthropist

The Philanthropist is a action play show which premiered on NBC on Wednesday, June 2 4, 2009. This program proved to be a summer series, chiefly filmed in South Africa. It started to strong evaluations, but saw a drop in viewers in subsequent weeks. The Philanthropist is a Carnival Films production in association with Original Media and The Levinson/Fontana Company. Gareth Neame, Barry Levinson, Peter Horton, Charlie Corwin, tom Fontana, also Teri Weinberg functioned as executive producers. On October 21, 2009, the show has been canceled by NBC. Fans attempts to keep the show on the air using face book and a charitable cause referred to as"Save Your Philanthropist during Charity" were ineffective.
