The Octonauts

The Octonauts is just a children's television show, made by Silvergate Media for its BBC station Cbeebies. Brown Bag Movies animate in Ireland the show however uses voice actors. It show relies on American Canadian children's novels written by Vicki Wong and Michael C. Murphy of all Meomi Design Inc.. The Octonauts follows an underwater exploring team composed of stylized anthropomorphic animals, a group of eight adventurers that reside in an under sea base in where they go on undersea adventures with the assistance of a fleet of vehicles that are aquatic. The subject material is reminiscent of Star Trek and Thunderbirds blended with Jacques Cousteau. In spite of the fact that it's sciencefiction in regards to its own technology, the animals and areas the team encounter are marine critters in their natural habitats.
