The Dead Zone

The Dead Zone Stephen King's Dead Zone has been an science fiction/suspense series starring Anthony Michael Hall as Johnny Smith, who discovers he's developed psychic abilities. The series, imputed as"centered on personalities" by Stephen King's 1979 publication of the exact same name, first aired in 2002, also has been produced by Lionsgate Television and CBS Paramount Network Television for its USA Network. The series was commissioned for UPN, however the series later dropped and USA picked up instead it. The series has been filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada because of its first five seasons. The first and sixth season was charged as"the summer season that affects everything" and production was moved to Montreal. The Dead Zone was anticipated to be renewed for a seventh season, however in December 2007 the series has been canceled as a result of high production cost and low ratings . A few rumors spread that the series would be picked up by Syfy after USA canceled it, however it did not happen. Rumors of a movie have faded eventually.
