The Cosby Show is an American television situation comedy starring Bill Cosby, which aired for eight seasons on NBC from September 20, 1984. The show focuses on the Huxtable family, an African American family. According to TV Guide, the show"was television's largest hit in the 1980s, and also almost completely restored the sitcom genre along with NBC's ratings fortunes". The show had been thrown. Entertainment Weekly said that The Cosby Show helped to make possible that a bigger Assortment of exhibits from Living Color to the New Prince of Bel Air.
