The City
The City is an American reality television show that aired in December 29, 2008 on MTV until July 1-3, 2010. Developed since this Hills' spin-off, the show introduced two seasons and dedicated to the professional and personal lives of young women residing in New York City. Its assumption was conceived by Adam DiVello, while Liz Gateley functioned as the executive producer.
The show originally focused as she began employment with Diane von Fürstenberg on Whitney Port, that looked in its predecessor. It additionally placed Port's boyfriend Jay Lyon emphasis on her behalf workplace rival Olivia Palermo, his room mate Adam Senn, and her friend Erin Lucas. Port's room mate Roxy Olin and Palermo's enemy Erin Kaplan replaced the latter three to the second half of this primary season.
The City was less powerful compared to the Hills, and received reviews by critics. Like its predecessor, the show had been often criticized for tending towards a story format seen in genres including soap operas, and emerging to produce much of its own storyline. All seasons have been spread by the series to DVD.
