The Cape

The Cape is an American dramatic TV series, with components of action/adventure, science fiction, and drama, which was produced during the 1996 -- 1997 tv season for syndication. While they train for, and perform, Space Shuttle missions, the Cape told the story of members of the NASA Astronaut Corps with an eye on their own lives. The series stars Corbin Bernsen since USAF Colonel Henry J."Bull" Eckert, an experienced astronaut who, first in the series, was the Manager of Astronaut Training but afterwards in the series was also tasked with the responsibility of Chief of the Astronaut Office. The series focused on authenticity and was filmed in and around Cape Canaveral, Florida. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin also functioned as technical adviser.
