Tatau

Tatau follows Kyle and Budgie. Kyle gets a Maori-style tattoo to celebrate their eventual destination: the Cook Islands. Kyle discovers the dead body of a local girl, Aumea, tied up underwater, when diving into a lagoon. Returning to the lagoon with the police, Kyle discovers her corpse has vanished. But Kyle knows what he saw. Struggling to uncover what happened, Kyle and Budgie find themselves squeezed deeper and deeper into an environment of Maori myths, symbols, and hallucinatory dreams... until finally the entire meaning of Kyle's tattoo has been shown.
