Second Thoughts

Second thoughts is a British sitcom that ran from 3 May 1991 to 14 October 1994. It was broadcast on ITV and made by LWT. A sequel, Faith later on accompanied it. Secondly ideas followed the lives of Bill MacGregor, 2 extravagant divorcees and Faith Greyshott, despite the pressures pulling it apart, from different backgrounds hoping to build up a relationship. Thoughts was based up on the real life relationship of wife, husband and those writers Gavin Petrie and Jan Etherington. It aired as a radio show on BBC Radio 4 aired between 1 2-3 and November 1988 July 1992. Radio stations series contained four string and a Christmas broadcast with a total of 31 episodes in 1992. Radio stations broadcasts were useful for the tv show on ITV. The fifth series was believed weaker compared to the four string. It was that the real series never to be based on the original radio broadcasts. Thoughts ended on 14 October 1994, however, has since been repeated on ITV3. The radio series is most replayed on BBC7.
