Power Play

Power Play was a Canadian television drama series, which aired from 1998 to 2000 on CTV. The series was filmed in Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario. The series starred Michael Riley as Brett Parker, also a former New York City sports agent who became the manager of a National Hockey League franchise, the Hamilton Steelheads. One of those throughline plots of this series managed the ongoing love of Parker -- hate relationships with the sport, the team along with his superior in McArdle Industries executive Colleen Blessed, played by Kari Matchett. The throw also included Gordon Pinsent as Jennifer Dale, Jonathan Crombie, team owner Duff McArdle along with Al Waxman. The show's theme song was a modernized version of this Stompin' Tom Connors classic,"The Hockey Song", performed partially by Connors himself, and then transitioning into the functioning of the band Rusty. The series was aired about the US network UPN, starting in 1999, but had been pulled after only two episodes. The installment gets the distinction of being the lowest-rated bout of almost any television series aired by any US network.
