Outrageous Fortune is a fresh Zealand comedy-drama television series, that ran July 2005. The series followed the lives of their livelihood criminal West family following Cheryl, the matriarch, decided the household should go directly and stick by law. James Griffin and Rachel Lang created the series and created by South Pacific Pictures. Like the series itself, their names were taken by episodes . The series concluded after 6 seasons along with 107 episodes making it the longest running drama series made in newzealand. The Main cast for the show's run Contained Frank Whitten, Antony Starr, Siobhan Marshall, Antonia Prebble, Robyn Malcolm along with Kirk Torrance. Grant Bowler appeared at a sporadic role throughout the show's first five seasons. The series premiered on 1-2 July 2005 and was welcomed by acclaim. Many of the categories in the New Zealand television awards were won by it with Malcolm's performance recognised by New Zealand reviewers, for its first 4 decades. Observing the show's success, England and both the United States adapted Outrageous Fortune in their series, neither of which were renewed after the debut season.
