New Worlds is really a 4 part mini series dealing with loss, love and the human price paid for its freedoms and liberties we enjoy. We follow the fortunes of four young people - Beth, Abe Hope and Ned - out across either side of the Atlantic, swept up in such times. We see them struggle as they're torn between ideals and love in the reality of their changing world. Back in England, the monarchy of Charles II has resisted its promises and reverted to tyranny. Beneath the Court's decadence, there is a terror system repressing the liberty won for its people who have so much blood throughout the Civil War of England when Charles I had been executed. In the us , the tentacles of state terror hit on the colonists of New England who're trying hard to throw off the shackles of their English Crown.
