Lassie

Lassie is a American television show that follows the adventures of a lady Rough Collie dog called Lassie and her companions, human and animal. The series was the creation of producer Robert Maxwell and animal trainer Rudd Weatherwax and has been televised from September 12, 1954, to March 24, 1973. One of the show on television chalked 1 seasons on CBS up before entering syndication. Initially filmed in white and black, the series transitioned to color in 1965. The series's first ten seasons follow Lassie's adventures in a small farming area. Jeff Miller his mum, and his grandfather would be the very first individual companions of Lassie before seven-year-old Timmy Martin along with his parents simply take over in the season. She discovers adventures, when Lassie's pops on the farm end in the season. After travel without leads to get per year, Lassie settles at a children's home on the two seasons. Lassie won 2 Emmy Awards in its initial years and received prefer in its introduction. Stars Jan Clayton and June Lockhart were nominated for Emmys. Merchandise produced during the show's run contained books, other items, clothing, toys, along with a Halloween costume. The lifelong host of the show, campbell's Soup, offered two premiums, and spread tens of thousands to fans. A multi-part episode has been edited into the feature film Lassie's Great Adventure and published in August 1963. As Steve McCullough, the television show The New Lassie attracted Lassie celebrity Jon Provost back again to television Back in 1989. Episodes that were selected are released to DVD.
