Janus
Janus is an Australian play television set screened on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1995 and 1994. Two series are made, with a total of 26 episodes.

Loosely based on the true story of Melbourne's Pettingill family and also the Walsh Street police shootings,'' Janus follows the bitterly-fought prosecutions of a notorious criminal family, the Hennesseys, from the viewpoints of the family, the police and, specifically, the attorneys, prosecutors, barristers and judges involved in every facets of the story.
Four associates of these infamous Hennessey clan are acquitted of the shooting two young policemen at a bank heist when the show begins. The city of Melbourne is shocked as brothers Mal and Steve, together side brother in law Darren Mack and friend Ken Hardy, walk free.
