Jam
Jam is just a post modern dark comedy series created, written and directed by Chris Morris, and was broadcast during April 2000 and March. It consisted of a collection of unsettling sketches, and was founded on the BBC Radio 1 series, Blue Jam.
A number of the sketches re-used the original radio soundtracks with the actors lip synching their traces, an unusual technique that added into the unsettling atmosphere of the programme.
The cast, that included individuals who Morris had worked on his sooner television work like the Day Today and Brass Eye, comprised Amelia Bullmore, David Cann, Julia Davis, Kevin Eldon and Mark Heap, in addition to occasional looks out of Morris himself. Chris Morris and Peter Baynham wrote it, with material led the cast, David Quantick, Graham Linehan, Arthur Mathews and by Jane Bussmann.
