Gungrave
Gungrave is a Japanese animated television series based on the game of the same name. The series made by Madhouse Studios, and is directed by Toshiyuki Tsuru, by a screenplay by Yousuke Kuroda.
The series follows Brandon Heat and Harry MacDowell since they grow through the positions of the Millennion offense syndicate.
Gungrave aired on TV Tokyo in October 6, 2003 totaling events. Much like the Gungrave video game, and its sequel Gungrave: Overdose, the' series' music is offered by Tsuneo Imahori. This also includes the series' opening motif.
At 2003 Geneon Entertainment, formally Pioneer Entertainment, declared the permit of Gungrave in North America. On July 3, 2008, Geneon Entertainment and Funimation Entertainment announced an agreement to distribute select names in united states after Geneon stopped supply of their own titles in October 2007. Funimation Entertainment will assume exclusive rights into the manufacturing, marketing, sales and supply while Geneon Entertainment will still retain the permit. Gungrave was announced as one of the names. By November 26, 2010, the collection has been licensed by Funimation. The anime series returned on May 1 1, 2011 into US television on the Funimation Channel.
