Gun is a American television anthology series that aired on ABC on Saturday night from April 1-2, to May 31, 1997 at 10:00 p.m Eastern moment. The show lasted six episodes, each led by a well-known director. Each incident involves the same semi-automatic pistol as an significant part the plot. The personalities each episode are different and seemed unrelated to people that appeared in different episodes. The show was produced by Robert Altman and brought recognizable celebrities including James Gandolfini within his first tv appearance, Kathy Baker, Carrie Fisher, Daryl Hannah, Randy Quaid, along with Martin Sheen, as well as Fred Ward. The theme song was a cover of The Beatles'"Happiness Is a Warm Gun", performed by U2.
