Bottom

Bottom is just actually a British anarchic sitcom written by and starring comedian duo Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson as socially awkward, sexually inexperienced Richie Richard, along with busty alcoholic Eddie Hitler, two social outcasts living on the dole, trapped together in a daily grind at a squalid flat in Hammersmith, London. Exhausted perpetually skint and sexually frustrated, they spend their days being sadistic and nasty to one another, bickering, and scheming. The series ran for three series airing from 1991 - 1995, and was followed by five point series tours throughout a feature film Guest House Paradiso, and the uk between 1993 and 2003. The series is noted for comedy slapstick and its disorderly, nihilistic humour. Back in 2008, Bottom came in at number 45 at a poll to see"Britain's Best Sitcom" by the BBC. The series is still shown on Dave and Gold in britain , and has been dubbed in other languages. Back in Spain the series is referred to. The theme music was supplied by The Bum Notes, a band that previously featured Edmondson, also will be now just actually a cover of"Last Night" from The Mar-Keys. Plans were made for Hooligan's Island, a BBC series, including the Richie and Eddie personalities from Bottom. But, that job was cancelled that October before production as Edmondson clarified that he desired to pursue other interests.
