The Third Man

As a guest of his own youth chum Harry Lime, a writer of pulp Westerns, Austria, Holly Martins, arrives in post war Vienna, only to learn he has expired. Martins develops a conspiracy theory later learning of a"third man" present in that time of Harry's departure, running in to interference from British officer Major Calloway, and falling headoverheels for Harry's grief-stricken lover, Anna.
